Rosendy Rodriguez-Nunez, MPA, director, accreditation and regulatory affairs at Phelps Hospital was honored last week when the Business Council of Westchester inducted its 2024 class of Rising Stars. Rosendy was one of several other Rising Star honorees who were chosen based on professional and/or entrepreneurial accomplishments, professional and/or business affiliations, and demonstrated leadership skills.
Rosendy Rodriguez-Nunez joined Phelps Hospital in 2017 as Executive Secretary to the Chief Nursing Officer and has since played a vital role in several key initiatives, including the hospital’s 2020 Magnet Designation and the implementation of the Cipher Health Rounding tool to enhance patient experience. Recently promoted to Director of Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs, she now oversees hospital compliance and leads the implementation of a Continuous Survey Readiness program and patient safety initiatives. Additionally, she manages the “Stress First-Aid” program to support staff well-being and reduce burnout.
Now in its 20th year, the BCW’s Rising Stars program is modeled after the national business recognition program “40 under 40.” Rising Stars honorees were chosen based on professional and/or entrepreneurial accomplishments, professional and/or business affiliations, and demonstrated leadership skills.
