The TNT Lady Legends competed in the Westchester Senior Softball League this spring. The Westchester Senior Softball League is an under-15-years-of-age league.
The team finished the regular season with a 5-1 record and went into the playoffs as the number three seed. They defeated New Rochelle 7-2 in the quarter finals and then in the semifinals they beat Yonkers 8-3 to qualify for the Championship game against Harrison. The Legends knew they would be facing a tough Harrison pitcher and team, but they came ready for the challenge and beat Harrison 5-2. Cassandra Torres pitched 7 innings, struck out 4 batters, had 2 hits and scored a run. Aly Janos, Gianna Volpe, Jen Angevine and Jamie Bucci scored a run each, with Jamie Bucci getting 3 hits in the game. The defense was solid, led by captains Jessica Bucci and Deanne Lindsay along with teammates Brittany Brand and Laura Balthazard, who also had an RBI late in the game. Other players on the team are Barbara Good, Sarah Camlic, Tauress Campbell, Jacey Peers and Lauren Harris.
