The annual spring cleaning of the walkways around the Tarrytown Lakes is upon us and this year Kathy Knight is asking all those who enjoy the beauty of these two bodies of water, to help (if they can) with the cleanup.
Ms. Knight has set the date of Saturday, April 22 and the time from 10am to 2pm. Should the heavens not cooperate a rain date has been set for the following Saturday, April 29. Volunteers will meet at the skate shack parking lot across the street from Sunnyside Avenue. All the supplies necessary will be provided and Kathy has predicted a good time for all and good deeds as well. For further information, please call her at 524-9873.
