Fast fashion has accelerated the environmental destruction caused by clothing manufacturing through pressure to buy more clothing, throwing clothing away rather than repairing it, and microplastics released from synthetic fibers. How can we combat it right here in Westchester? Join and learn about local ways to participate in the circular economy, the options for textile recycling, and share your favorite local thrift shops.
