Dows Lane Elementary School kindergartners, who have been exploring teen numbers in Tara Nemeth and Shantel Mackey’s class, participated in hands-on math stations to deepen their understanding of the numbers 11 to 19.
Through a variety of engaging activities, including Teen Number Bingo, Play-Doh number building, a spin-and-graph game, and a Roll and Write station, the students practiced number formation in fun, interactive ways.
“Each station engaged the students in continuous learning as they built upon being courageous learners through hands-on learning and collaboration while strengthening their number sense,” Nemeth said.
